Duties

The Treasurer shall keep:

  • Account of all moneys received and disbursed;
  • Regular accounts of all warrants drawn on the treasury and paid; and
  • The books, papers and moneys pertaining to the Treasurer's office ready for inspection by the county commissioners at all times.
  • The county treasurer determines (with the approval by the board of county commissioners) how to deposit and invest county funds.
